About

US Forest Service campground. Paragon Dispersed Camping Area is a primitive camping area with ten designated campsites, some with lantern posts and fire rings. The area is located off of KY 519 on a narrow portion of Cave Run Lake which provides calm paddling conditions for non-motorized boating. The site design also allows for easy vehicle access all the way to the water's edge. Trash collection is available seasonally. Pack out what you pack in. Open season: Open year-round. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
