About

County park at the confluence of Ramsey Creek and the Chauga River, 10 miles from the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River. 26 campsites with water and electric hookups. Over three miles of hiking trails, a handicap-accessible 40ft waterfall, and a 160ft suspension bridge over the Chauga River. Tubing, hiking, fishing, and picnicking. Bathhouses, a dump station, and 4 rental shelters. Gate closed dusk-7am; campground roads are narrow (check ahead for larger campers). Closed mid-November through February (day use open year-round except three weeks near Christmas). Check-out noon; pets allowed.
