About
Oconee State Park, one of 16 South Carolina state parks built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is the southern trailhead for the 77-mile Foothills Trail and has a swimming lake with boat rentals. It offers 139 standard campsites with water and electrical service plus 15 rustic tent sites (154 total); 19 historic CCC-built cabins are also offered but not counted in the total above.
