About

Mahaska County Conservation 138-acre natural area along the South Skunk River, with upland forest, limestone bluff outcrops, and naturally occurring wetlands. A concrete boat ramp provides river access. Limited primitive camping, geared more toward water recreation and hunting than developed camping.
