Camp Denison Camping

Tent camping on Camp Denison, 44 acres of Town of Georgetown conservation land on Baldpate Pond, run by the town's Camp Denison Committee under the Conservation Commission. Tent sites are in several spots around the camp, in the woods or by the water, including two platform sites near the bunkhouses; a tenting area outside the Nature Center overlooks the pond with boating and fishing access, and another near the Herb Hubbard Pavilion adjoins Baldpate Pond State Forest trails. Every site has a fire pit or fire circle, picnic table, and bathroom access; a modern bathhouse serves the cabin area. Four bunkhouses and a Girl Scout cabin rent separately, and scout membership is not required. Dogs on leash. No swimming in the pond. The town does not publish a site count. Tent site $20 per night for up to 4 people, $5 per additional person (rates from July 1, 2026). Bunkhouses $50 per night; Girl Scout cabin $100 per night.
