About

East Bay Municipal Utility District recreation area on the south shore of Lake Camanche, run by concessionaire Lake Camanche Recreation. 148 full-hookup RV sites (99 of them in the Monument RV Park with 30/50-amp service; the Miner's Camp sites are long-term stays of up to six months), 20 primitive sites on the water, and group sites for 32 to 88 people; the concessionaire counts more than 550 tent sites across both shores together and does not publish a south-shore total. Hot showers, restrooms, laundry, a dump station elsewhere in the park, marina, boat launch and store. A separate equestrian camp is for riders and youth groups only. Dogs allowed for a daily fee. Open year-round; reservations through Campspot.
