About

East Bay Municipal Utility District recreation area on the north shore of Lake Camanche in the Sierra foothills, run by concessionaire Lake Camanche Recreation. Tent sites along the shore where self-contained RVs may also camp (no hookups on this shore), four group sites for 12 to 72 people, and eight cottages; the concessionaire counts more than 550 tent sites across the north and south shores together and does not publish a north-shore figure. Hot showers, restrooms, laundry, a marina, boat launch and store. Dogs allowed for a daily fee. Open year-round; reservations through Campspot.
