About
Boulton Creek Campground is found in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, about 50 km south of Hwy. 1 on Hwy. 40 and south on Kananaskis Lakes Trail. This large campground has over 160 well-treed sites for RVs and tents. There are unserviced, power and water, and walk-in options. There are many amenities and activities available here, including showers, equipment rental, a campground store, hiking trails, paved bike paths, and close access to the Kananaskis Lakes.
All campers must check in and register at Boulton store prior to proceeding to site.

Reservations can be made 90 days in advance of arrival date.
Power is available in the winter. Fall 2026: Campground loops A, B, and E are open until October 12. Campground loops C and D are open until September 13.
Firewood: Firewood is available for purchase at the Boulton Creek Trading Post.
Water: Water services are available seasonally from early June to early September; weather dependent. Campers are expected to bring their own water during the shoulder seasons. Showers are token operated. Available at the Boulton Creek Trading Post.
Sewage: A sewage disposal station is located here. Check Kananaskis RV Sewage Disposal Stations for a full listing. Sewage available early June - September (weather-dependent).
