About
Peppers Lake Campground is located in Peppers Lake Provincial Recreation Area, 84 km southeast of Nordegg on Hwy. 734. This pretty little campground has quiet, treed sites with close lake access. Go fishing or tour the shoreline by canoe or electric powered boat. An equestrian staging area is located 2 km away.
This is a self-maintained campground operated by the Friends of the Eastern Slopes . A nightly fee is not charged; however, campers are encouraged to purchase an annual membership to support their operation. Toilet paper and hand sanitizer are not supplied, and visitors must take their garbage when they leave.
Managed in partnership with Friends of the Eastern Slopes Association.
Firewood: Firewood is not available. Help stop the spread of forest pests, Dutch elm disease and emerald ash borer. Plan to bring or buy firewood locally to burn on site.
Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
