About

This small campground is found in Harlech Provincial Recreation Area, 13 km east of Nordegg on Hwy. 11. It is well treed and suitable for both RVs and tents. You can fish in Shunda Creek or in the stocked trout pond. The Shunda Creek trailhead leads to the North Saskatchewan River, 10 km away.

In partnership with The Rail Trail initiative, Harlech PRA has created six campsites accessible to OHV’s. Ride in and stay at campsites 12-17 or stage your OHV camp from this location.

Operated by Westward Bound Campgrounds.

Sites 4 - 11 are small sites suitable for tents and vehicles.

Access road is not suitable for large RV units.

Water: Please bring your own water. Water from the hand pump is not safe for consumption or use and should only be used to put out fires.
