About

Poplar Hill Cottage is a cottage at Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park. It has 3 bedrooms. It sleeps up to 8 people. It has a full kitchen. Pets are welcome here for a nightly fee. It's a historic three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage in the Poplar Hill area of the museum grounds, with a full kitchen. This is the museum's only overnight lodging - there's no campground here. Reservations are handled by the museum directly (call Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.), not the online booking system used by most other Virginia state parks. No linens are provided - bring your own sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and towels.

Fees

Virginia State Parks' statewide cabin fee schedule (dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/cabin-fees.php): $121-$183/night for VA residents (prime season, April-October) or $103-$164/night (standard season, November-March); $139-$210/night for non-residents. A $20/night, per-pet fee plus sales tax applies (pets aren't allowed in yurts at all, so no pet fee applies there).

The museum's grounds close in January and February - call (276) 523-9640 to confirm current availability before planning a winter trip.
