About
Known as "the Grand Canyon of Virginia," Natural Tunnel State Park centers on an 850-foot natural tunnel carved through a limestone ridge, reachable by a chairlift or a hiking trail. Two full-hookup campgrounds sit alongside a primitive tent camping area; cabins, a lodge, and yurts round out the overnight options (not counted in the total above). The park also hosts a large amphitheater and is popular for weddings.
