About
Eight walk-in cabins sit at Bear Hill Pond, a quieter, separate area of Bear Brook State Park reached by its own drop-off area rather than the main campground entrance. They come in two sizes - some sleep 4, others sleep 6 - though the park's own materials don't say how many of each are available. None have electricity. A short walk leads to a shared bathroom area (one flush toilet plus portable toilets) and an outdoor water spigot; there's also a small camp store nearby selling firewood. Bear Hill Pond itself is open to non-motorized boating and fishing, and the Hall Mountain trail network starts close by. Dogs are permitted.
Fees
Bear Hill Pond cabins run about $45-$55/night. A $7 reservation fee applies per booking, per New Hampshire's statewide camping fee schedule.
These cabins run full-time from May 1 through late October, with a shorter "primitive" shoulder season (reduced services) opening as early as mid-April. They're closed over the winter.
