About
Belknap County's campground at Gunstock Mountain Resort in the Lakes Region, run by the county's Gunstock Area Commission, minutes from Lake Winnipesaukee. The resort describes it as 262 campsites including two rustic cabins; its rate table lists 89 basic and tent-platform sites, 35 30-amp and 54 50-amp water-and-electric sites, 28 full-hookup sites, and 52 seasonal sites, with basic sites spread through the campground and the hookup sites on named lanes and fields. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring. Bathhouses with free hot showers, coin laundry, heated pool, playground, recreation center, dog park, fishing pond, dump station, and a camp store with firewood, propane, and supplies; campers get discounts at the resort's Adventure Park (ziplines, aerial courses, mountain coaster, scenic chairlift). Two-night minimum, three nights on Memorial Day, Motorcycle Week, July 4th, Labor Day, and Columbus Day weekends; stays up to two weeks. Check-in 1 pm, check-out 11 am. Cats and dogs welcome with a current rabies certificate; no pets in the cabins. Summer camping runs Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend; winter seasonal sites and the cabins run from November to early April.

Midweek/weekend rates: basic and tent-platform sites $40/$45 per night; 30-amp water-and-electric sites $50/$60; 50-amp water-and-electric sites $55/$65; full-hookup sites $60/$70; cabins $80/$85 plus 9% rooms and meals tax. Rates cover one family or up to four adults; $8 per night for each child beyond three and $8 per day visitor; two pets included, a third $5 per night.
