A 4-bedroom ranch house on Whites Creek and the Assawoman Canal, outside Delaware Seashore State Park's main boundary. Sleeps up to 7 (a California king, a king, a queen, and a double bed), with one full bath, a half bath, and an outdoor shower; a full kitchen (cooktop, double oven, dishwasher, full-size fridge); a gas fireplace; heat and air-conditioning; a washer/dryer; an outdoor fire pit; and an enclosed porch facing the bay. Bring your own linens, towels, and food. Reservable year-round with a 3-night minimum stay (7 nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day). Not wheelchair accessible; dog-friendly with a $25/night per-pet fee (2-dog maximum).

Twelve cottages at the Indian River Marina, on the north shore of the Indian River Inlet inside Delaware Seashore State Park. Each sleeps up to 6 across 2 bedrooms (a queen bed and two twin beds) plus a loft with a queen bed, with living/dining areas, a well-equipped kitchen (cooktop, dishwasher, full-size fridge, coffee maker, toaster oven, and a countertop convection oven), a gas fireplace (October-April), satellite TV and a DVD player, heat and air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, and a screened porch. Bring your own linens and food. All 12 cottages are wheelchair accessible. Cottages 11 and 12 are the only ones that allow pets (an additional fee applies, not published online).

Sleeps up to 6 (a king bed, a queen bed, and a bunk bed with a double below a twin), with living/dining areas, a full kitchen (cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, full-size fridge/freezer), heat and air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, an outdoor propane grill, and a furnished ocean-facing deck.
