About
Sleeps up to 8, on the east side of Resurrection Bay below Porcupine Glacier. Reachable only by private boat, float plane, or commercial water taxi - Resurrection Bay is generally choppy in the afternoons, so use caution. Heated by a wood stove. Like every Alaska State Parks public-use cabin, it comes with wooden sleeping platforms, a table, and chairs or benches, plus a nearby outdoor latrine - no running water or indoor plumbing. Bring your own sleeping bag or bedding, cooking stove and fuel, cookware and utensils, and a 9-volt battery for the smoke detector. A natural water source is usually nearby but must be purified before drinking.
Fees
$75/night (Alaska State Parks' own published cabin rate). Reserve America adds a non-refundable $5 transaction fee per booking (a $4 fee applies to date changes made at least 3 days before arrival).
