About

Provides good boat access to Frenchman Lake (Łútth’i Män). Has a mix of sites in the forest and by the lake. Nunatuk comes from the Inuktitut word nunataq. It refers to a mountain peak surrounded by a glacier. The gate will remain open after service to this campground has ended. Register your stay (payment not required). Bring your own wood and toilet paper and pack out your garbage.

On the Robert Campbell Highway at kilometre 543, then 16 km along Frenchman Road. 15 campsites, 4 of them pull-through. All campsites are first come, first served. The gate is open year-round.

Check road conditions, especially after a rain.

Fees

$20 CAD per night paid in cash at the campground, or $18 with a nightly camping voucher or a reservation; fees apply May 1 to September 30
