About

Small campground on the shore of a marshy lake. Many waterbirds spend the summer here. You may hear loons at night. A great base for visiting Faro, Ross River and the North and South Canol roads. The gate will remain open after service to this campground has ended. Register your stay (payment not required). Bring your own wood and toilet paper and pack out your garbage.

On the Robert Campbell Highway at kilometre 415, then 3.5 km along Mitchell Road. 15 campsites, 7 of them pull-through. All campsites are first come, first served. The gate is open year-round.

Please respect private property and the airstrip nearby.

Fees

$20 CAD per night paid in cash at the campground, or $18 with a nightly camping voucher or a reservation; fees apply May 1 to September 30
