About
High Cliff State Park tops a limestone escarpment above Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin's largest inland lake, with restored effigy mounds and the ruins of a 19th-century lime kiln. The 112-site family campground (32 electric) is joined by 8 group sites; showers and restrooms run seasonally, roughly May through mid-October. An accessible cabin is also available (not counted in the total above).
Fees
Wisconsin DNR statewide camping system: a vehicle admission sticker is required at every state park or forest entrance, including for registered campers - $28/year for Wisconsin residents ($13/year age 65+) or $50/year for non-residents, or $13/day resident / $16/day non-resident. Nightly campsite rates vary by electricity, amenities, location, site type, day of week and season, and are shown when you select a specific site during booking; non-resident campers pay a flat $15/night surcharge on top of the site's own rate. A $9.30 reservation fee applies per booking, plus a $10 cancellation fee or $6 change fee if plans change. Pets are allowed at this campground on a leash no longer than 8 feet at all times, per Wisconsin State Park System's statewide pet policy; owners must clean up and properly dispose of pet waste.
