About
Shenandoah River State Park stretches along more than five miles of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River beneath the Blue Ridge Mountains, with river access for canoeing, tubing, and fishing alongside miles of hiking and biking trails. Overnight guests can choose an RV campground with water and electric hookups, a walk-in tent-only campground along the river, or a walk-in group site; yurts, camping cabins, rental cabins, and a six-bedroom lodge are also available (not counted in the total above). It's a great home base for river days paired with mountain views.
