Mescalero Apache Tribe Parks & Recreation Department campground at Silver Lake, with camping and trout fishing. First-come-first-served, no advance booking. Verify current seasonal and fire restrictions before travel. The tribe's own page for Silver Lake says it is open and that camping is first-come, first-served, while its general parks page still carries older closure wording - ring before setting off.
Fees
RV $55/night for the first two people, or $1,200 for 30 days. Tent $35/night for the first two people. Extra people $2/night each. Firewood $12.
