La Jolla Band of Luiseño Indians campground in Pauma Valley, off Highway 76, on a 10,000-acre reservation at the base of Palomar Mountain. Oak-shaded sites along the San Luis Rey River, the only campground in San Diego County with tubing and direct river access. Tube and bicycle rentals available. Water levels vary seasonally - call ahead before visiting for tubing.
