About

Listen for the call of the loon at Makwa Lake Provincial Park. Made up of an expansive forest connecting five lakes, this park features three campgrounds, one group site, multiple sandy beaches, service centres, hiking trails and a beach access wheelchair for persons with mobility needs. While in the area, visit nearby Steele Narrows Provincial Park, the site of the final battle of the North-West Resistance.

Stabler Point has 165 nightly sites (150 electric, 15 full-hookup) and 62 seasonal sites leased for the whole season.

Camping is offered in winter with reduced services; contact the park to book.

Fees

Electric sites $35, full-hookup sites $49 CAD per night, plus a $12 reservation fee and a park entry permit ($11 per vehicle per day)
