Notice (as of 2026-09-15): Road improvements and paving throughout the park is scheduled to begin September 8, 2026. During this time, the south portion of the park including the boat launch and all campsites within the park will be closed and there may be an increase in noise levels.

Danielson Provincial Park is the perfect place to enjoy summer. Situated on Lake Diefenbaker, the sandy beaches, excellent fishing opportunities and large campsites provide a variety of opportunities to fill the days with outdoor adventures. Hike the Trans Canada Trail (The Great Trail), or learn more about one of the world's largest earth-filled dams by visiting the Gardiner Dam Visitor Centre.

Shady Lane has 23 electric nightly sites.

Camping is offered in October with reduced services (electric sites, pit toilets, portable toilets); contact the park to book.

Electric sites $35 CAD per night, plus a $12 reservation fee and a park entry permit ($11 per vehicle per day)
