About

Home to one of the rarest geographical formations in Canada, Blackstrap Provincial Park takes its name after the manmade mountain that rises 45 metres above the surrounding prairies. A 35-minute drive south of Saskatoon, this park is the perfect place to enjoy a wide range of summer activities including swimming, camping, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Winter activities include winter hiking, cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and mountian biking.

With a boat launch located on the east side of the lake, Blackstrap's lake is ideal for water activities such as water-skiing, canoeing, windsurfing and ice fishing. A main beach with inviting sand and ample grass areas makes a perfect place for games and sun tanning. For that perfect getaway with minimal effort and preparation, two Camp-Easy sites are available for booking.

Hazelnut Grove has 19 electric nightly sites.

Camping is offered in October with reduced services (electric sites, pit toilets, portable toilets); contact the park to book.

Camping is offered from November to March with reduced services (electric sites, pit toilets, portable toilets); contact the park to book.

Fees
