Le Prospecteur is a campground in Parc national de la Pointe-Taillon, run by Sépaq, Quebec's parks agency. It has 30 rustic campsites. The sites cannot be reached by vehicle; access is on foot (4 km), by water (4 km).
This camping area, featuring 29 rustic campsites, is located in a pine grove, 4 km from the Discovery and Visitors Centre (about 20 minutes by bike or an hour and 15 minutes by foot). Certain campsites have a partial view of Lac Saint-Jean. You can enjoy the sandy shores and warm water of the lake.
