Camping Mont-Jacques-Cartier is a campground in Parc national de la Gaspésie, run by Sépaq, Quebec's parks agency. It has 30 semi-serviced (no hookups) campsites. The last 42 km of road are gravel.
This camping area offers 30 semi-serviced campsites. It is located close to the starting point of the Mont Jacques-Cartier trail. There is running water on the campsite but it is not drinkable. The campground is located 45 minutes from the Discovery and Visitors Centre. Route 16 (gravel road) must be taken for over 40 kilometers to reach it. This road, which has relatively steep ascents and descents, may not be suitable for large recreational vehicles. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition before traveling on it.
