About
This recreation site is situated along the eastern shore of Kappan Lake, and offers a nice view of Kappan Mountain to the southwest. This site is a popular fishing, boating, and camping destination.
Road access. Maintained to Recreation Sites and Trails BC standards by a partner or contractor. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings. First come, first served.
Getting there: From Anahim Lake, travel south on Kappan Mountain Road (the turnoff is just west of the Anahim Lake Airport). Travel 5 km to the intersection with the Beeftrail Main FSR. Continue straight onto the Kappan Mountain Road for another 4.3 km and turn right onto the access road. The access road is fairly rough and narrow, and a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Travel 1.7 km to the site.
