About

**** PLEASE NOTE, due to extremely high lake levels the camping areas has been reduced in size to 1/3 of its normal capacity. Please keep vehicles away from the wet shoreline as the ground is saturated.****

This is a large and varied rec site, from open grassy areas beside the lake to heavily treed sites away from the shoreline.

Area has 12 defined sites, but the open grassy area allows for many more units to crowd in.

Site is very busy in May/June with fishers, but makes a perfect spot to get away the rest of the summer.

Road access. Maintained to Recreation Sites and Trails BC standards by a partner or contractor. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings. First come, first served.

Getting there: From Hwy 97 turn right onto Lyne Creek Road, follow this for 7.5km, turn onto the Forest Lake Road for another 2.5km.
