Closed: Recreation Sites and Trails BC lists this site as closed (This site is closed due to the Bonanza Creek Wildfire - K71082).

A popular area for motorized use and the recreation site is also used by hunters in the fall. Motorized use must stay on existing trails and out of the alpine meadows, wetlands and the South Chilcotin Provincial Park located to the west.

Road access. Maintained to Recreation Sites and Trails BC standards by a partner or contractor. Facilities on file: toilets, picnic tables. First come, first served.

Getting there: Access is via Tyaughton Lake Road and then Mud Creek Forest Service Road. The road is rough and narrow in places, and not recommended for 2 wheel drive vehicles as you drive further north.
