The trail is a rough and brushy route into Rottacker Lake. The site is in grizzly bear habitat; use caution.

Trail access only. User-maintained site with no regular servicing. Facilities on file: boat launch, fire rings. First come, first served.

Getting there: The trailhead is located at around 20km in on the Kate-Sitkum Forest Service Road.
