This is a small scenic timbered site that is popular for day use. The access is rough. There is a rough car top boat launch with an unmaintained dock at the lake and three rough sites, with two picnic tables and an outhouse in the campsite.

Road access. User-maintained site with no regular servicing. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, dock, fire rings. First come, first served.

Getting there: From Enderby Follow Hwy 97 to Enderby. Continue to Ashton Creek and turn onto EnderbyヨMabel Lake Road, then onto the Three Valley/Mabel Forest Service Road. Follow this road along the west side of Mabel Lake. At km 30.5, turn right onto Kidney Lake Permit Road. Travel 2.7 km and turn left. Continue 400 m on a rough access road. Inside the site, the road splits at a fork: left leads to the campsite, and right leads to the boat launch and lake access. From Revelstoke Travel west on Highway 1 past Three Valley Gap. Turn left onto the Wap Forest Service Road and drive 19 km. Turn right onto the Three Valley/Mabel Forest Service Road (also known as the Kingfisher FSR) and continue for 5.3 km. Turn right onto the Kidney Lake Permit Road. Travel 2.7 km and turn left. Continue 400 m on a rough access road. CAUTION These are active forest service roads with potential industrial traffic. Use caution when traveling.
