Closed: Recreation Sites and Trails BC lists this site as closed (Baird Lake will experience a seasonal closure from Wednesday, July 29, 2026 to Monday, August 3, 2026. There will be no access through Hidden Lake FSR during this period of time).

This small forested site is ideal for small cartop boats and canoes.

Road access. User-maintained site with no regular servicing. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings. First come, first served.

Getting there: Follow Hwy 97 to Lumby to Mabel Lake Road to Trinity Valley Road to Hidden Lake Forest Service Road. At km 13.5 up Hidden Lake Forest Service Road, take the right access road onto Baird-Hidden Forest Service Road, and travel an additional 2 km to Baird Lake. The road splits and there are two campsites on either end of the lake.
