About
This small lake offers productive fishing for generally small but wild and feisty rainbow trout. This is a small unimproved site that offers space for one day use or overnight group. The facilities are limited to a pit toilet and a small car-top boat launch. The access to the site is limited to high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicles, ATVs, or by foot due to road deactivations (a 2WD vehicle can access to within approximately 0.5 km of the site).
Road access. User-maintained site with no regular servicing. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, parking. First come, first served.
Getting there: Access directly to the site is by 4WD vehicle, ATV or foot only. Travel 23.5kms south of PG - Turn left on to the Stone Creek FSR and then turn right at the "Y" onto the 3200 Rd. Turn left onto the Government Creek Rd after approx. 10 km and head north towards the lake. 2WD vehicles need to find a clear spot to park along this road and walk from here.
