About

Set up on a bench overlooking a small, quiet lake is this 3 unit camping site. There is a pit toilet, picnic tables, fire rings and a gravel boat launch. Boating/paddling, hunting and fishing are common activities in this area. There are rainbow trout in Lund Lake for anglers.

Road access. Maintained to Recreation Sites and Trails BC standards by a partner or contractor. Facilities on file: boat launch, toilets, picnic tables, fire rings. First come, first served.

Getting there: From Hwy 16 in Burns Lake, take Hwy 35 south and take the ferry across Francois Lake (be sure to check schedules for Francois Lake ferry). Arrive in Southbank. Travel South from Southbank for 18.3 km on Keefe's Landing Road. At the fork, continue west down the Keefe's Landing Road for another 20.7 km. Turn right on the Ootsa Nadina Road and travel for ~23.2 km, then turn right and head 600 m north to reach the site. Can be accessed via Houston on the Morice-Owen, Owen East, Ootsa-Nadina FSR's as well.
