About

George Washington Campground, within the George Washington Management Area overlooking Bowdish Reservoir, offers 74 standard and tent-only sites (plus a small number of hike-in tent sites, 2 group shelter sites, and 4 cabins, not counted in the total). Restrooms are outhouses or pit toilets rather than flush facilities, and there are no showers; a dump station and shared water spigots are available. A separate group camping area accommodates up to 20 people.

Fees

Tent-only sites are $36/night, standard sites are $18/night, group shelter sites are $75/night, and cabins are $50/night (Rhode Island's official Reserve America-posted rates). An $8.75 reservation fee applies per booking, plus an $8.00/day vehicle pass ($12.00 for a second vehicle). Pets allowed (up to 2 per site, current rabies vaccination required).
