Burlingame State Campground, next to Watchaug Pond, is Rhode Island's largest campground with 688 tent and standard sites (plus 26 cabins and 1 shelter site, not counted in the total) spread across wooded grounds. On-site amenities include showers, flush restrooms, a dump station, a freshwater beach, boat ramp, canoe rentals, a playground, and a camp store. Utilities (electric/water hookups) are not available at individual sites.

Fees

Tent-only sites $36/night, standard sites $24-$45/night depending on hookups, shelter sites $36/night, and cabins $50/night (rates shown are Rhode Island's official Reserve America-posted rates, which vary by residency and site tier). An $8.75 reservation fee applies per booking, plus an $8.00/day vehicle pass ($12.00 for a second vehicle). Pets allowed (up to 2 per site, current rabies vaccination required).
