About

Wakami Lake offers day use, car camping, and backcountry camping. The park provides excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, paddling, swimming, and hiking.

Wakami Lake has four campgrounds featuring many waterfront campsites. All campsites are non-electrical. Vault privies, water taps, and a trailer sanitation station are available within the campgrounds.

The park has one roofed accommodation: a prospector-style canvas tent. The tent is located at the Day Use Area beach and features two queen beds, side table, and a dining table. There is a BBQ, firepit, two Adirondack chairs, food storage locker, and a picnic table available outside. There is an accessible ramp.

Wakami Lake is one of the best Walleye fishing lakes in the region. There are two fish cleaning stations, two dock areas, and a boat launch. The park rents motorboats and kayaks.

Wakami Lake's backcountry campsites are accessible by boat, canoe, and kayak. Many campsites are just a short paddle away from the campground. These picturesque sites are equipped with a firepit, picnic table, tent pads, and a privy.

Includes 16 sites in the seasonal campsite program.
