About
The Whitesand Lake Campground is located on the north side of Highway 17 along a beautiful inland lake perfect for swimming, fishing, and water sports. A comfort station is centrally located within the campground for easy access.
The Maggie and Selim Campground loops offer electrical campsites. Many sites in Selim are pull-through and relatively level.
The park offers three non-electrical loops; Whitesand, Lakeside and Hewitson. The Whitesand loop’s interior offers pull through sites, while the outside loop contains private, well buffered sites, both of which are suitable for larger trailers. Lakeside campsites are located up on a hill and offer lovely views of the lake through trees. The Hewitson campground is quiet, private and best suited for tents and small pop-up trailers.
Rossport Campground is located 5 km west of Whitesand Lake Campground, on the south side of Highway 17, situated along the shoreline of the pristine Lake Superior.
Campsites at Rossport are located within a grassy birch grove making them more open than Whitesand Lake campground. With a centrally located comfort station, and spectacular views of Lake Superior, this campground is very popular with return visitors.
Seasonal Campsites are also available.
Includes 31 sites in the seasonal campsite program.
