About
Bon Echo provides day use, car camping, roofed accommodations, and backcountry camping. The park offers hiking trails, three sand beaches, a dog exercise and swimming area, boat launches, a Visitor Centre, and a Park Store. Rentals for canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are also available at the park.
The Mazinaw Lake Campground has three camping loops: Sawmill Bay, Midway, and Fairway. Campsites on these loops can accommodate tents to large trailers and many have electrical service. Water taps, comfort stations, and laundry facilities are close by. The Hardwood Hill Campground features non-electrical sites and can accommodate tents or trailers. Toilets are nearby and there is one comfort station. The Midway loop of the Mazinaw Lake Campground and Hardwood Hill Campground are radio-free.
Bon Echo offers several roofed accommodations. Camp cabins are located on Bon Echo Lake, yurts are found in Mazinaw Lake Campground, and exploration tents are situated in Sawmill Bay Campground.
The park also offers backcountry canoe routes and a hiking trail. There are 21 canoe access sites and three hiking access sites. At each campsite, you will find a picnic table, tent space, and a privy nearby.
