About
This is a boat-access-only primitive camping area spread across Lower Saranac Lake and connected waters in the Adirondacks. There are 82 individual sites plus three group camps, all reachable only by canoe, kayak, or motorboat - there is no road access and no potable water, so bring your own. Outhouses serve each site, and a shower building is available at the main access point. Dogs are welcome with proof of rabies vaccination and a 6-foot leash.
Fees
Primitive boat-access sites run about $14/night plus a $7.25 reservation fee; out-of-state visitors add $5/night. No hookup surcharges apply. Confirm current pricing before booking.
