About
Kring Point State Park sits on a peninsula between the St. Lawrence River and Goose Bay, about six miles west of Alexandria Bay. The campground has 95 campsites (electric hookup is limited to a very small number of sites), along with showers and a dump station. Eight cabins are available separately as additional lodging. Pets are allowed (2 per site max, 6-foot leash, current rabies proof required). Open May through mid-October; check ahead as restroom facilities have been undergoing renovation.
Fees
Standard sites run about $17 per night plus a $7.25 reservation fee. Electric hookup is available at only a very small number of sites for an added surcharge, and out-of-state campers pay an additional $5 per night.
