About
Heckscher State Park is located on the south shore of Long Island near East Islip, bordering the Great South Bay. The campground has 67 campsites plus 15 separate cottages for rent, along with showers, restrooms, and a dump station. Large pavilions are available for day-use group gatherings, though there is no dedicated overnight group camping area. Pets are not permitted at the campsites or cottages. The campground season generally runs late May through early September.
Fees
Standard sites run about $17 per night plus a $7.25 reservation fee, with an additional $5 per night for out-of-state campers. Confirm current amenity surcharges when booking.
