About
Glimmerglass State Park sits on the shore of Otsego Lake about eight miles from Cooperstown, home to the Baseball Hall of Fame and Farmers' Museum. The campground offers 47 campsites, some with electric hookup (30-50 amp) in the main loop, plus hot showers, restrooms, and a dump station. Three pavilions are also available to rent for day use. Pets are welcome on a 6-foot leash with proof of rabies vaccination, limited to two per site. The campground is open mid-May through mid-October.
Fees
Sites run about $17 per night for a standard site, plus a $7.25 reservation fee ($1.25 for walk-ins). Sites with electric hookup add $7-$9 per night depending on amperage, and out-of-state campers pay an additional $5 per night. Confirm the exact rate for your site when booking.
