Cherry Plain State Park is a small, rustic 175-acre campground in the Taconic Valley near Petersburgh/Grafton, with 28 campsites and a tent shelter near a sandy swimming beach and boat launch. Sites are small - camping equipment is generally limited to about 15 feet - and there are no electric hookups. Showers and comfort stations are available. Maximum 2 pets per site, leashed, kept off the beach.
Fees
Standard NY state park camping rates apply: about $14-$17/night for a site, plus a one-time $7.25 reservation fee. Out-of-state visitors pay an additional $5/night. Confirm current pricing before booking.
