About
Bear Spring Mountain is a rustic Catskills campground near Walton with 33 tent/trailer sites and two group sites, plus 24 horse tie stalls for equestrian campers. Showers are located at the Launt Pond area, and both flush and vault/pit toilets are available. No electric or water hookups at sites. Dogs must be leashed (6-foot max) with current rabies proof.
Fees
Standard NY state park camping rates apply: about $17/night for a standard site (primitive sites around $14/night), plus a one-time $7.25 reservation fee. Out-of-state visitors pay an additional $5/night. Confirm current pricing before booking.
