About
Allegany State Park is New York's largest state park, split between the Red House and Quaker areas near Salamanca, with hundreds of campsites plus a large separate inventory of cabins and cottages. Some sites offer 50-amp electric service, and a water fill-up station (disconnect after filling) is available. Showers, restrooms, and a dump station are on site, and two group camping areas are available. Maximum 2 pets per site on a 6-foot leash with current rabies proof.
Fees
Standard NY state park camping rates apply: about $17/night for a standard site, plus a one-time $7.25 reservation fee. Out-of-state visitors pay an additional $5/night; sites with electric hookup add $7-$9/night depending on amperage. Confirm current pricing before booking.
