From the campground a short trail leads to the dramatically stunning Lady Evelyn Falls, a staircase leads to the base of the falls. The Kakisa River is warm and bouldery with many lovely spots for wading and fishing. Lady Evelyn Falls Territorial Park is located near the Hamlet of Kakisa, 167 km from the NWT/Alberta border, on Highway 1. Take the access road to the south off Highway 1 for 6.8 km/4.2 mi to the park. The park is 130 km northwest of Hay River.
