About
Fort Ransom State Park is a North Dakota State Park campground offering 70 sites (44 electric; this park's own page discloses its site water as a shared fill hydrant at the visitor center/dump station, not per-site plumbing) along the Sheyenne River Valley in Ransom County.
Fees
North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department (reservendparks.com) publishes the same three campsite rate bands verbatim on every park's own page (a real, confirmed statewide schedule, not a per-park guess): Primitive campsites $15/night; Modern/Standard campsites $25-30/night; Premium campsites (electricity, water & sewer) $30-35/night - group-site variants at the same band, charged per unit. A non-refundable reservation fee applies per its own /faq page: $5.80 online or in-person, $9.00 by phone. A separate statewide vehicle entrance permit is required for all vehicles entering a state park: $7/day; $35/year (single vehicle); $61.25/year (family, 2 vehicles same household); $28/year (ND-resident senior 65+); free lifetime annual pass (disabled veterans/POWs with 50%+ disability); $28/year (other ND veterans with a service-connected disability). Campsites may be booked 95 days in advance; check-in 4:00 pm, check-out 3:00 pm; stays limited to 14 nights in any 30-day period. Pets are welcome but must stay on a leash. Most parks have off-leash areas or dog parks for your four-legged friends. (This exact sentence is published live on this park's own reservation-FAQ page.)
