Elk Knob State Park near Todd, in the High Country near Boone, offers hike-in backcountry camping only - six individual tent/hammock sites plus one group site, with no car camping, electricity, or water at the sites. A pit privy is the only restroom; there are no showers. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
